What is Clicky?
Clicky enables you to send pictures, audio or video messages from your mobile phone cam direct to the web almost instantly.
You can attach an audio message to your photo or even submit multiple media types from your phone in one message.
How do I send a photo?
You need to register first by going to the registration page where you supply a username,
password and an email address. Your username must be alphanumeric with no spaces, dashes etc. The password enables you to login and
make changes to your preferences, delete photos and post comments. The email address will not be displayed to the public and is only for
our internal use to notify you of any changes, password reminders etc.
After you register, you will need to activate your account by sending a photo to userid@clicky.com from your mobile phone. You can also
add more mobile #'s to your account after activation.
How do I add more mobile #'s to my account?
After you login, go to your preferences page and look for your authorization key. You can have multiple
mobile numbers (for friends and family) post picture messages to your account by having them send their first photo to userid-KEY@clicky.com where "KEY" is your authorization key.
All mobile numbers authorized to post to your account will be listed in the Preferences page where you can delete or temporarily disable. You can
also assign a name to each mobile # so you know where the photo was sent from.
How do I post pictures to the public album on the Clicky front page?
After you have activated your account, you can send pictures to public albums such as pics@clicky.com
How do I view the pictures I have sent?
You can either go to http://www.clicky.com/userid to view your photos or if you are logged in, just click on "My Photos" at the top of the screen.
How can I download photos to my phone?
This is still in beta, but if your phone's browser supports html pages, then go to http://wap.clicky.com/ on your phone and you will be able to browse
a very simplified version of the site. If your phone's browser supports cookies then you can even post messages direct from your phone.
How do I post comments on photos?
If you are logged in, just click on the photo and scroll down to the bottom where you will see a "Post New Message" box.
How do I delete a photo?
You must be logged in first, then click on your photo and then hit the Delete button
TIPS
- You can add a caption to your photo by placing the text in the Subject: field on your phone before sending.
- You can organize all photos from a specific event by sending the pictures to userid.EVENTNAME@clicky.com, your picture subjects will then begin with [EVENTNAME] so you can easily search for them.
